Carers Week is the perfect time to recognise the vital paid and unpaid work carers do across our communities in Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse Constituency in what can often be difficult circumstances.
As a party, we in the SNP are totally committed to supporting carers in Scotland with a pledge to establish a National Care Service in the next 5 years which will improve standards, training and staff pay and conditions - while giving extra support for unpaid carers.
