Relentless Strength visited by local MSP Christina McKelvie
A Stonehouse resident and international powerlifting competitor is the power behind one of Stonehouse’s most thriving new gyms.
‘Relentless Strength’, opened in late February from Scotland, British and European athlete weightlifter, Craig Cameron, specialises in focused strength and conditioning training.
Stonehouse resident Craig, who has competed at international level in powerlifting, has transformed his weightlifting passion into a thriving enterprise. The business was recently visited by local MSP Christina McKelvie.
The gym, situated in Udston Farm in Stonehouse, offers both personal, tailor made training and nutrition programmes and wider bootcamp fitness classes.
Local MSP for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, Christina McKelvie, paid a visit to the gym to see the thriving business in action.
Commenting, Christina McKelvie added:
“I was delighted to see yet another thriving business within my constituency and I was more than happy to pay Craig and all those at Relentless Strength a visit.
“The benefits of maintaining a healthy, fit and active lifestyle are immeasurable.
“It’s clear to see that Craig has transformed his powerlifting passion into a viable enterprise. I wish them every success in the future as they provide specialised fitness and training expertise.
Commenting, founder of Relentless Gym, Craig Cameron added:
“Relentless Strength was born from a passion to help people perform to their potential.
“I moved to Stonehouse in November 2017 and quickly realised there was no training facility, as I was commuting to Glasgow daily to train my clients. I immediately started looking for a building to convert to a small gym.
“Relentless Strength is a performance focused strength and conditioning gym where my goal is to really help those who walk through my door get a bit better every time they train
“The facility runs classes for primary and secondary school children right up to adult bootcamps and personal training.
