Hamilton Bulls clinch SRU Green Conference title.
The Hamilton Bulls Rugby Club under 15s have clinched the SRU Green Conference Championship in a stunning campaign.
The team claimed the title by defeating Dumfries Saints 44-15 on the last day of the SRU season.
With victory on the final day, the Bulls claimed an unassailable four point lead, leaving second place Biggar to claim the runner up spot.
Local MSP for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, Christina McKelvie, has launched motion S5M-03089 congratulating the team.
Commenting on the title winning side, Christina said:
“My immense congratulations to the entire team for their wonderful and ultimately successful campaign.
“The boys have shown great teamwork, determination and attitude to ultimately cross the line and claim the championship.
“I was delighted to launch a Scottish Parliamentary motion in my name, noting the success of the Bulls and their title winning side.
“Hamilton has a proud record of producing sporting stars and athletes. This team is next in a long line of champions that Hamilton has produced and they should all be rightly proud of their efforts.”
