Graeme Horne first won his seat in 2003 and has subsequently been elected in 2007 and 2012 with the first round of votes.

Before becoming a full time Councillor, Graeme worked for 20 years as an Electronics Engineer for Motorola Semiconductor.

Born on 22 September 1969 in Lanarkshire, he was educated at Braidhurst High School, Motherwell before continuing his studies at Coatbridge College and Stow College, Glasgow completing an HND in Digital Electronics.

Alongside his Councillor role, Graeme works in the whisky industry.
