You get this little package in the post. It asks you to do certain things privately. It's not that difficult, it doesn't hurt, and no one else needs to know about it.

That's good to know. If bowel cancer is detected early on, it can usually be cured.
So don't put it off; don't feel that it's a bit of an assault on your dignity. This service is there for you, not for the Government. If you've received the kit in the past and put it in the bin - don't.
You never know, you could be putting your health at serious risk simply beccuase you don't want to take up the screening test.
